Experiencing Virtual Major Life Events
User research on the experience of hosting and attending major life events virtually

Overview
Objective
Explore the problem space of hosting and attending virtual major life events.
About the Research
While people are able to stay connected from larger distances, they can't always attend major life events in-person. New and emerging technologies allow for the opportunity to host and attend these events virtually so that people separated by space can still gather for important moments.
This research aims to see how people use current technologies to virtually host and attend these events and learn about their thoughts, preferences, and desires in regards to these experiences. Findings were used to provide design implications for future products in this space.
