Overview

Objective

Review existing literature on haptic feedback in the space of online shopping.

About the Research

This paper explores haptic feedback in current and emerging technologies and with respect to online shopping.

The purpose of this research was to explain what haptic technology is able to provide in tactile information for users and if this can actually enhance the online shopping experience.

It discusses what we can conclude about haptic feedback and online shopping based on research, what the implications are for HCI, and provides suggestions for further research.
